This class advances the scent discrimination skills taught in the Introduction to K9 Nose Work class. Dogs are taught to identify the first target odor of the sport: Birch, a natural essential oil. Additionally, we introduce techniques and tactics for building better dog/handler teamwork. This class is also appropriate for dog handler teams working with Birch who would like to gain experience searching for Birch in a new environment. Intro to Odor is intended to be repeated multiple times.
