Is your dog shy or fearful? Does he get overwhelmed during walks because he's fearful of people, dogs, or the city environment? Does he shy away from friends and family when they visit? Is he scared in new situations, or does he become fearful of you in some circumstances? Do you want to better understand why your dog acts the way he does? We can help!
In this seminar you'll learn how you can help your dog overcome his fear and anxiety, so that he can be more relaxed and happy. We'll teach you about the physiology of fear and how to identify fear signals and triggers in your dog with the use of slides and video.
You'll also learn about aids and therapies that can ease canine anxiety, setting realistic expectations for rehabilitation, and beginning steps for training and management of fearful dogs. You'll also have the opportunity to ask plenty of questions!
The seminar is for guardians only–no dogs, please. To get hands-on experience with your dog, please register for our Bravery Class for Shy Dogs.
